Turkey Wine

Wine production in Turkey has extremely ancient origins, with Anatolia considered one of the birthplaces of viticulture dating back to around 7000 BCE. Despite being a predominantly Muslim country, Turkey maintains a significant wine industry, ranking among the world's largest grape growers. Turkey is known for indigenous varieties such as Öküzgözü, Boğazkere, Narince, and Emir, with key regions including Cappadocia, Thrace, and the Aegean coast.
